Upcoming Galveston Shriners Awareness Day to Feature “Shriners Kids Got Talent”
Show with Special Guest Host – Kechi!

 Shriners Hospitals for Children – Galveston will host a Shriners Awareness Day, welcoming all Shriners to come and learn about the hospital, meet past and present patients, and enjoy a special “Shriners Kids Got Talent” show starring our current patient ambassadors and recent America’s Got Talent - The Champions finalist – Kechi!

Check-in for the event will begin at 7:15 a.m. with the day’s program officially starting at 8:30. Attendees will hear from Galveston’s Chairman of the Board – Mr. Gary Martin and Ms. Mary Jaco – Hospital Administrator. In addition, Galveston’s Chief of Staff and current A.B.A. President, Dr. Steven E. Wolf will provide information about the acute burn care that is provided at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Galveston, followed by an overview of reconstructive care presented by Dr. Ludwik Branski.

Shriners and their guests will also have the opportunity to visit with patients and their families by engaging in fun activities during the day. Former patient - Cory Keen will impart his inspiring story of burn survival and recovery. Cory’s, along with messages from other patient
ambassadors about how their lives have been forever touched by the Shriners dedication to the Galveston hospital and the care they received, will also be shared.
